Parsippany New Jersey is located 15 miles west of Newark, New Jersey and is bordered by Mountain Lakes, Boonton, Montville, Denville and Hanover. The population of the town is approximately 50,649. The town was voted by Money Magazine in 2006 as the 17th best places to live in the United States By 2008, the town moved up to the 13th best place to live.
Transportation to NY City is available at the Mount Tabor Train Station with service to and from Penn Station and Hoboken. Easy access to major routes including Route 80, 280, 287, Route 46 and 202 is readily available.
The town enjoys 29 parks including hockey and roller rinks, dog parks, fields and walking paths There are also two 18 hole golf courses. Restaurants and shopping are available along Route 46. A farmer's market runs through the summer at the Town Hall.
